Yeah...I was listening to "Someday" by Sugar Ray when I wrote the title, lol.
The other day (I can't believe I forgot to write this), my stepdad was actually nice for once!! :shock: lol Well, he had made my stepbrother (who is 11 years old...thankfully, he doesn't live with me-only every other weekend) clean out his closet, and for his 10th birthday, he had bought a guitar and an amp with the money my mom gave him. About a month after that, he didn't play his guitar at all anymore, and now he's saying that he doesn't want to play it anymore...he never had a passion for it.
So, on Sunday, my stepdad walked into my room with a 1¼' by 1½' Peavey amp, set it down at the foot of my bet (I was in my bed watching TV), and said "Do you want an amp?" He's never this nice, so I just stared at him, gave him a funny look, and said "Why?" and he said "because I made Kenny [my stepbrother] clean his closet". I just kept on staring and replied "why?" again, and then after awhile of that, I just said thanks and he left....so now I have a pretty new amp! Yay! My old one (which I still have) is really tiny and sucks ass...I'm glad I got a new one!!
Anyways, today I did nothing...as usual...oh well, I try and make the best of it, so that's good enough for me! But I still can't wait until school starts again lol

Anyways, yesterday was fun...I went out with my mom (it was the first time in awhile that just she and I went out). First we went to get the oil in her car changed (which was pretty cool-I'll explain in a second), and then we went to the movies (we saw White Chicks-which is the FUNNIEST movie! go see it, damnit!!). After that, we stopped and got lunch (lemon and garlic chicken in...I think linguini...with artichoke hearts...'twas very good!). Okay, here's the reason why getting my mom's car's oil changed was cool. We walked across the street (because it was an hour wait) and got some forms in a piercing and tattoo place so that I can get my eyebrow pierced on Saturday! Yay! lol I've been wanting to get my eyebrow pierced for awhile, and my mom said that for one of my birthday (march 27) presents, I could get it done, but she hadn't said when exactly. I have such a great mom, lol.
Then, later on in the night, my friend Beverley got to sleep over my house (which is EXTREMELY rare-her stepdad's an asshole), so that was fun.
Today was more of a blah day, because Bev and I stayed up until 5:45 in the morning :roll: So yeah, I was really tired.
Okie dokie, well, yeah, stuff.....I'ma go read Harry Potter now.....lol
Wow...I haven't written anything in a few days... Well, anyways, the day before yesterday (Tuesday, lol) I slept over my friend Heather's house...that was interesting... I got to help her babysit two of the cutest kids in the world (James, 2, and Brendan, 7), so that was fun...they're so polite! They slept over, too, because Heather's younger brother Christopher (who is 8 years old) is friends with them. So, a little while after they came over (Heather's parents were still there-they left the next day, which was when the real babysitting began), Brendan was running around chasing Christopher for one reason another, and Christopher ran right around me (almost into me), and Brendan stopped for a second and said "excuse me". I have to admit, it was really cute, lol. But anyways, this blog is supposed to be about the next day (yesterday; Wednesday).
Heather's OTHER brother (she has 3), Nicholas (oh, by the way, her entire family calls all of her siblings by their full names because "that's what's on their birth certificates", so I do, too...oh, and Nicholas is 17) came over with his friend Keith. I've gotta tell you the story about Keith before I go any further. Keith has an identical twin brother, Kevin, who Heather had dated and who broke up with Heather only about a month ago (which was good-Kevin is a complete asshole, and Heather was going to break up with him anyways). SO, when Keith came over (I don't know Keith AT ALL), Heather told me that she's started to like him now, too. As far as I could tell, Keith is nicer than Kevin, but I don't like him "that way" (and Heather KNOWS this-I've told her so!)...I really don't even know what Heather sees in him. So after awhile, I went outside while everyone else stayed outside, and Nicholas came in and told me that Keith said he likes me, and a little while after Nicholas told me that, Heather came in and said the same thing (and I think she also said something like "damn you!", but just kidding around). So when Heather said that, I told her that I didn't like him, and I thought she was okay with that. She had also said that she was talking to Keith when they were outside, and Keith said he didn't like Heather "that way" and he couldn't date her for two reasons-1, because he was best friends with Nicholas, and that would be kind of weird, and 2, because of Heather's parents (who are very strict). Then I went outside with her (mostly to watch James and Brendan, who were ouside with them), and Heather brought up the subject of the guy that I DO, in fact, like "that way" when she was talking to Keith, who works with the guy I like (and she KNEW that he worked with him!). Heather dragged that conversation out much too long, so I went back inside. I couldn't BELIEVE she had been so jealous, even after I had told her directly that I don't like him! So after Keith left, Heather apologized to me, but I told her that for what she had done, a simple "I'm sorry" wouldn't fix it...we aren't fighting or anything, but I think she knows how much she embarassed me.
Gah! It's actually making me angry all over again just thinking about it!!
Okay, well, anyways, summer's not as bad as it could be...at least SOME interesting things happen every once in awhile to keep me entertained, if only for a little while :roll:
My stepdad's been an asshole to my mom lately, because he has this problem where every time his son (who doesn't even live with us) does something wrong, he tries to make his son look like the perfect child by finding something bad to say about my brother or me. My mom's not a dumbass, and she knows that he's doing this. He's been on an asshole streak lately, blaming every little thing on my brother and me for the past week or so, and my mom is finally giving him a taste of his own medicine. She told me that now she's going to complain about every little thing my stepdad does wrong just like he's been doing to us...which is quite fun, actually-she told me to tell her anything he might do wrong, like if he doesn't make the bed or something, lol. This should be quite interesting... :)

I say he's from that movie because it's the only Scream movie I've ever seen...I know he was in the first one, but that's besides the point. Well, that actor looks like he could be my guitar teacher's identical twin...with the one difference being that my guitar teacher has a "soul patch" (or whatever you want to call it). It freaked me out the first time I watched that movie! lol

Yup. Once again, I couldn't think of a creative title...but this one has some meaning behind it.
Today I went with my mom and my brother to Sound Exchange, which, if you don't know, is a new and used music store where you can either buy CD's/movies/cassetts/etc., or you can exchange them for money there....which is pretty cool. I got a CD by Gob that I've been wanting for a long time called "Foot In Mouth Disease" used...and for only about $7! So yeah, that was about as interesting as my day got, ha.
You know what I've noticed? My fingernails have gotten really long over the past couple of days...yeah, you notice a lot of odd things when you're bored and on summer vacation. The reason why this is actually interesting is because I used to bite them...dunno how I got over that bad habit But now, as sad as it is, I'm going to have to clip them...when you play guitar, you have to keep your nails on the short side...I guess only guitarists would understand, though...
SO, on to more intersting news, heh heh.... On August 18th, I'm going with my friend Beverley to a concert featuring Linkin Park (yay), Less Than Jake (yay!!), The Used (yay!), KoRn (yay!), and Snoop Dog (blecch!!!!!!). So that should be fun... and I may possibly go with her to the Warped Tour July 30th, but we're not completely sure yet...but that would be awesome...
Hmm...let's see....AH! I remembered something interesting from today!! First, I went into a friggin SuperTarget (my mom dragged my brother and I along...since she took us to Sound Exchange, we had to go with her to find a birthday present for my 11-year-old cousin)!! Hooray! Sounds fun, huh? lol Well, when we got there, I saw my friend Zack. The cool part about this was that I haven't seen Zack since about a month before school ended...because (supposedly) he got expelled for possesion of marijuiana...not sure if that's the exact reason, but I know he was expelled (and just because my friends do it, that doesn't mean I do...unlike many other people, I don't believe in trashing my body OR my brain). So I said hi to him, but then I had to leave...at least I know he's still alive! lol Then after that, my mom, my brother and me went through the drive-thru at McDonald's and the person who gave us our food was my friend Jessica from my drafting class! I hardly knew her this year, but she was still my friend. She saw me, and when I looked at her she smiled and waved, so that was cool. I think it was pretty odd (but awesome) that I saw two of my friends in the same day, when this entire summer I've only seen about 3 different people from my school so far.
Anyways, I should go to sleep now...it's 1:20 in the morning!!
Okay, I wrote this a couple of nights ago, when my internet was down.....this is extremely serious, so please read it all:
I swear, my mom is completely obsessed about her weight. If it's not one diet, it's another, and if it's not another, then it's a new exercise plan. I really worry about her sometimes, because the thing is-she's not overweight! I mean, sure, she's not the skinniest person in the world, but who is? Besides, being skinny isn't always good. My mom is 5'10", about 150 pounds, and she's going to be 42 years old!! She's in pretty damn good shape if you ask me...
Sometimes it's actually quite disturbing how obsessed she really is...I've seen her go through so many different diets only to be dissatisfied with her results. Her job starts at 5am, and she wakes up at 3:30am so that she can run for 3 miles every day at 4 in the morning. I've even seen her take a bite of a delicious dinner she's just made, and then spit it in the garbage jso that she doesn't get the fat or calories out of it. Basically, she's torturing herself to make her happier, but she never seems to be happy...
All day, every day, she complains about how "fat" she is, or she'll be saying how she would love to lose a few pounds. I can't remember the last time she sat down and ate dinner with my brother and me (besides Sundays where she has to-family dinner-but even then she doesn't eat much).
I think the most horrible thing that she does that almost makes me cry is when she takes a shower...She takes showers with the lights extremely dim or completely off because she doesn't want to see herself (she's even told my brother and me that this is the reason). And no matter how many times anyone tries to tell her that she's not fat, she doesn't believe them. I just wish that there was something that I could do or say to bring back her self confidence...which is why I'm writing this blog...
If anyone has any ideas on how to make my mom feel better about herself, PLEASE TELL ME!!!

Okay, well, for about the past five days, my internet hasn't worked....that kind of sucked....I had about 20 emails when I checked today!! It's been raining all week....for all of you who think Florida would be a great place to live, think again!! If it's not too hot, then it's too humid, or the weather just sucks altogether....oi. lol
I got my hair dyed on Friday!!!!! Hooray!!! The color is called Rosewood....yeah, whatever....basically it's a really dark auburn....and I love it! However, that's the most exciting thing that I've done since the last blog I wrote.....summer is BORING!!!
My mom's trying to give me things to do all day, since she's at work during the day....Tomorrow, she's got me baking cookies :lol: Who want's a cookie??? haha She's actually making me bake the entire tub of cookie dough that we have...3 pounds!!! Oi. I'm gonna gain 20 pounds in the next week, just you watch :?
Bwahaha!!! I'm the only person in my family right now to have a working air conditioner in their room!!! Lol, my room was built into the garage because I live in a 2-bedroom house with 3 other people, so I have my own air conditioner, and the one inside the house is broken! :lol: Wheeee!!!! I'm cold and they're not!!! haha, ignore what I just wrote....I'm insane...:P
ANYWAYS, lately I've been sleeping in till 12:30 in the afternoon every day...I hate waking up late....I think it's all because I screwed up my sleeping pattern....been staying up until 2am every night....not on purpose! It just sort of happened....... Ah! Here's a math problem for you! If my alarm clock is set to wake me up at 9:30am every morning, my snooze goes off every 9 minutes, and I sleep in until 12:30 pm (every morning), then how many times do I hit the snooze every morning???? I have no clue!!! You figure it out! lol
Okay. I have a project for all you tBloggers....you see the header thingy at the top of my Blog page that says "weblog" that I "bought" from the tblog store? Yeah, how the hell do you get it off???
I've tried everything, and nothing works....actually, I've been trying to get it off since the day I bought it...which was forever ago....
Well, yesterday was okay, but today was completely boring....at least yesterday I had a friend to hang out with....
I didn't talk to her at all today...don't get me wrong-I tried to, but keep in mind that she's grounded... It kind of sucks for me because she's allowed to play outside, but she can't use the phone or any other electronics, and I'm not allowed to come over to her house unless I call first....and she can't use the phone....confusing, eh?
So yeah, today I just sat around and did nothing...
I do have some good news, though.....I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico!!! lol, j/k
I really do have good news-I'm probably going to dye my hair dark auburn within the next week or so...yay! Not sure when that's going to be, though...

If you read my previous blog, you'd know that I was completely bored out of my mind because I couldn't see my bestest friend, Beverley....well, I got to see her today...and we were both bored out of our minds together!! lol
First we sat on my front porch for about an hour or two, because part of her "grounding" is that she is allowed to play, but she can't go inside anyone's house....then we went to her house to swim, and after that got boring, we went back to my house and sat on the porch again....
When my mom got home, we were allowed to jump on my trampoline, but it started raining about 5 minutes after we got on (which wouldn't have been that bad, if not for the lightning and the tornado watch going on in my neighborhood :? ).
So yeah, the day was pretty boring....but not completely wasted....I at least got outside instead of just sitting on my ass, watching fucking Blues Clues all day (there's NOTHING on TV during the day!!

I woke up at 12:00 today, which I HATE to do...but it doesn't really matter if there's nothing to do! After waking up, all I did was watch TV and play my guitar all day long.
I think the only time I ever have fun is when my mom, my brother and I go out to do something (if you haven't guessed by now, my parents are divorced).
The most exciting thing that's going to happen this week is today-guitar lessons. Oh hooray-one hour of fun.
Wanna know why I'm so bored? My best friend (and pretty much my only friend in my entire neighborhood who isn't on vacation or lives too far away) got grounded a week ago because of her grades...she lives with her mom and her stepdad (like me), and her stepdad is REALLY strict...I'm talking HITLER strict (she actually calls him Father Adolf to his face every once in awhile...that's probably the only thing she doesn't get in trouble for!). She can't use ANY electronics (she can't answer the phone, she can't use the internet, she can't use her radio...I think the only electricity in her room is her light!), and she's most likely grounded to her room. I haven't talked to or seen her since she was grounded, so this all pretty much sucks.
There is NOTHING for me to do by myself!!!
:shock: Oh my God....I just thought of this....I can't remember the last time I went outside!!!! AAAHHHH!!!! It's not like there's anything outside for me to do, anyways...my neigborhood is all woods, and I live waaaay in the back of it, so it's literally a mile and a half until you get out of my neigborhood.

TODAYYYYYYYYYY, my mom, my brother and I went to see the 3rd Harry Potter movie (yes, I like the Harry Potter movies, lol! it's kind of becoming a family tradition for my mom, my brother and me to go see the movies in the theatre)...It was really good! It's the first one that wasn't directed by Chris Columbus (my brother told me that), and that made it SO much better!
I won't ruin the movie for you, but I have to tell you my favorite part (for all of you that haven't seen the movie and don't want to hear, I'll give you a chance to stop reading! here you go!):

My favorite part in the movie is where Ron wakes up from a bad dream and yells "the spiders! they're making me tap dance!" and Harry (who was awake) just looks at Ron and says "you tell those spiders, Ron!" and then Ron just nods and goes back to sleep. It was great, lol
